Chili, St. Albans fundraiser tops last year results

CARTHAGE, Ill. -- The annual Chili and St. Albans townships fundraiser both topped last year's results.

Chili Township raised a total of $1,919 which will be distributed to nine entities. This year's total surpasses by $282 the funds raised in 2012.

A total of $775 was raised in St. Albans Township. These funds have been designated by the donor to be given to eight entities. This beats the 2012 total by $81.

The co-chairmen this year were JoAnn Webster and Christina Robert.
