Two injured near Central High School

CAMP POINT, Ill. -- Both drivers were slightly injured in a two-car accident at 2:07 p.m. Thursday on Ill. 94 near Central High School.

Courtland W. Rigg, 21, of Clayton, and the other driver, a 16-year-old female, were taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department reported a southbound 2005 GMC Envoy driven by the 16-year-old began passing a 1987 Ford Mustang driven by Rigg when the Mustang swerved in front of the Envoy and both collided in the intersection of Ill. 94 and County Road North 2000th Ave.

Arrests are pending, police said.
