Memphis, Mo., woman suffers minor injuries in Friday wreck

MEMPHIS, Mo. -- A 19-year-old Memphis woman was taken by Scotland County Ambulance to Scotland County Hospital after a one-vehicle accident Friday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Hannah M. Smith was heading west on U.S. 136 two miles east of Memphis in a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer when a on the car tire blew out, causing the vehicle to run off the left side of the road and strike an embankment. Smith was wearing a seat belt.
