Jordan Frericks has completed the sweep.

Frericks, a senior forward for the Quincy Notre Dame girls basketball team, collected first-team all-state accolades from the Chicago Tribune and Champaign News-Gazette this week. The Tribune names only five players -- all classes combined -- to its first team, while the News-Gazette puts 15 players on its all-inclusive first team.

Previously, Frericks was named a first-team all-state honoree by the Associated Press, Illinois Basketball Coaches Association and Chicago Sun-Times.

Frericks, the Herald-Whig's two-time Player of the Year and third-place finisher for Illinois Ms. Basketball, averaged 16.4 points, eight rebounds and 5.1 steals per game in leading QND to a 30-0 record and Class 3A state championship. It was the Lady Raiders' third straight state title after they had won two in Class 2A.

QND senior guard Kassidy Gengenbacher was named to the News-Gazette's 15-member second team and was a special mention selection by the Tribune. She averaged a team-best 17.7 points per game and shot 44 percent from 3-point range.

Pittsfield senior guard Shea O'Brien (19.7 ppg) and Brown County sophomore forward Vanessa Markert (22.4 ppg) were honorable mention selections by the News-Gazette.
