New London man hurt in Hannibal bar fight

HANNIBAL, Mo. -- A New London man was seriously injured in a fight early Sunday morning at Ole Milts bar in Hannibal.

Hannibal police reported a 52-year-old man first was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital, then transferred to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill. The man's name was not been released.

Police reported a 30-year-old Moscow Mills man was arrested after officers arrived on the scene at 1:19 a.m. Sunday. The man was placed on a 24-hour hold in the Marion County Jail pending the issuance of an arrest warrant. His name also was not released.
