Curryville, Mo., man arrested on drug charges after traffic stop

BUFFALO TOWNSHIP, Mo. -- A 23-year-old Curryville, Mo. man is being held in the Pike County Jail after sheriff's deputies said they found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop.

The Pike County Sheriff's Office reported that Devin Kirk was stopped for a traffic violation about 2:15 a.m. Saturday morning on Mount Zion Church Road. Deputies said they found drugs and drug paraphernalia during a search of the vehicle Kirk was driving.

Kirk is charged with possession of a controlled substance, a Class C felony. Bond was set at $25,000.

Additional charges are pending for other people who were at the scene, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.
