    Only one race will be contested in the Feb. 24 consolidated primary election. Former Adams County Board member Jay Schaefer filed petitions Monday to run as a Republican in Quincy's 7th Ward. He will face incumbent Alderman Terri Heinecke, R-7, who filed her petitions last week.
