Staff from the Adams County Health Department visited the Bright Start Preschool in Quincy on Wednesday to fit youngsters with bicycle helmets through the Kohl's Risk Watch Program, part of the nationwide Kohl's Cares initiative in support of children's health.

Cooper, a golden doodle, is teacher Erin Armbruster's trained therapy dog, and his pawprints reach beyond just her classroom. "He helps out the students. He's a very good dog," fifth-grader Myles Cain said.
