MONTICELLO, Mo. -- A Lewistown man was arrested by members of the Lewis County Sheriff's Department Tuesday on two felony charges.

Marvin W. Moore, 59, was arrested on an outstanding warrant. He was charged with two Class C felonies of unlawfully possessing a firearm as a felon. The Lewis County Sheriff's Department said the warrants were issued against Moore after he fled a crime scene on Feb. 9 when deputies were investigating another matter. Two weapons were seized by sheriff's deputies.

Moore is currently on probation from a 2008 aggravated DUI charge. He is being lodged in the Lewis County Jail in lieu of a $10,000 cash-only bond.
