Randy Sims and Jerry Hagmeier were seated Wednesday morning as members of the John Wood Community College Board of Trustees.

Sims, an incumbent, and Hagmeier, a challenger, were elected April 9 to six-year terms.

The board also conducted its annual reorganizational meeting that included the election of officers. The current staff of officers was re-elected, with Sims continuing to serve as chairman, Jim Gay as vice-chairman and Jeannetta Green as secretary.

Sims also appointed trustee Reggie Coleman as the board's representative to the Illinois Community College Trustees Association. Hagmeier will be the alternate representative.

The board's next meeting is 7 p.m May 15 at the school's 48th and Harrison campus.
