Canton and Elsberry's Class 2 Sectional baseball game was postponed due to lightning in the top of the fourth inning Monday in Elsberry, Mo.

The game will be resumed at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Elsberry High School. Elsberry has runners on first and second base with two outs and an 0-1 count on the batter with the game tied at two. The Indians scored two runs in the top of the second, with the Tigers responded with runs in the second and third to tie the game.

Levi Gaus and Brandon Behrhorst both drove in runs for Canton.

Palmyra's Class 3 sectional game against Hallsville was also postponed after three pitches Monday.

That game is scheduled to resume at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Flower City Park in Palmyra, Mo.
