Legion Post 37 falls to Hannibal

HANNIBAL, Mo. — Errors cost Quincy American Legion Post 37 in an 11-4 loss to the Hannibal Legion on Tuesday.

Hannibal pounded out 10 hits and scored five runs in the first two innings to pull ahead. Post 37 cut the lead to 5-3 in the third inning, but couldn't get the lead any closer.

Zach Vahle, from Quincy Notre Dame, finished 3 for 4 with two RBIs for Post 37. Dillon Gilbert, from Quincy High School, finished with four strikeouts and allowed six runs in four innings for Post 37.
