Quincy man arrested on sex abuse charge

A Quincy man was arrested by the Adams County Sheriff's Department Friday on criminal sexual abuse charges.

Joshua M. Sawyer, 23, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Police said an investigation revealed Sawyer had sexual relations with a minor child under the age of 13 at a residence in Adams County.

He is being lodged in the Adams County Jail.
