The Pike, Scott and Cass-Morgan County farm bureaus, and Country Financial representatives will sponsor two crop insurance seminars Monday, Jan. 20, featuring Doug Yoder, senior director of affiliate and risk management at the Illinois Farm Bureau.

The seminars had been scheduled for Monday but were canceled because of snow.

The first seminar will be a lunch session beginning at noon at the Pike County Farm Bureau, 1301 E. Washington in Pittsfield. The second seminar will begin at 5:30 p.m. with supper at Hamilton's in Jacksonville.

Yoder started with the Illinois Farm Bureau in 1999. He has conducted hundreds of seminars on grain marketing, managing risks on the farm, crop insurance, farm bills, e-commerce and other topics.

Reservations and more information are available from the Farm Bureau offices or Country Financial representatives.
