Quincy couple arrested on meth charges

A Quincy couple was arrested on methamphetamine possession charges Wednesday after an investigation by the West Central Illinois Task Force.

Lawrence L. Stambaugh, 41, and Susan M. Stambaugh, 46, were arrested on charges of unlawful possession of meth during a search of their home in the 1100 block of N. Third. Susan Stambaugh also was charged with unlawful possession of meth precursors.

According to a West Central Illinois Task Force press release, officers found meth and drug paraphernalia during the search. Both people were held in the Adams County Jail.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department assisted.
