Hickerson — also known as “Big Vinny” — gained national fame three years ago when he lost 205 pounds on the NBC reality weight-loss series “Biggest Loser.” Now he is a motivational speaker, part of the Trailer Choir country band and advocate for keeping music in schools through his connection to the non-profit “Music With A Mission” project.
