Linzy Smith of Quincy and Matthew Wontorcik of Midland, Mich., have announced their engagement.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Jody James of Quincy and Chuck and Robyn Griep of Spokane, Wash. She graduated in 2001 from Quincy High School and entered the Air Force in 2002, where she spent four years as a combat medic. Miss Smith is employed by Blessing Physician Services.

The prospective bridegroom is a son of Linda Wontorcik and Jerry Wontorcik, both of Midland. He is a 2001 graduate of Midland High School and subsequently enlisted in the Air Force, where he served honorably for 12 years. Mr. Wontorcik is studying to be a registered nurse at Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing.

The couple will be married June 21 in First Christian Church in Quincy.
