Motorcyclist ticketed after accident near LaPrairie

LAPRAIRIE, Ill. -- A LaPrairie motorcyclist was injured when he lost control of his bike Sunday northeast of LaPrairie.

Bradley D. Albers, 44, was taken to a residence and then by Adams County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment of minor injuries.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department reported that Albers was driving a 2009 Honda motorcycle on a gravel road, North 2750, when he cost control at East 2850th at 2:43 p.m. Albers was not wearing a helmet, police said.

Albers was ticketed on charges of driving under the influence and driving with a revoked license.

Assisting was the Golden Fire Department rescue unit.
