Park District offers horse etiquette class for youth

The Quincy Park District and QUEST Stables will host Horsing Around, a horse etiquette class, for third through sixth graders from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursdays, April 3 to May 8, at QUEST, 48th and Ellington Road.

In the six-week class, students will learn all about horses, feed, tack, chores, grooming, leading and types of riding. They also will have the opportunity to ride a horse in the final class.

Cost for the class is $70. Registration is open throughout the length of the program.
