Two Rivers RC&D annual meeting set for April 29

PITTSFIELD, Ill. -- Two Rivers Resource Conservation and Development Corp. will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, April 29, at Hopewell Winery in Summer Hill.

The meeting begins with a social hour at 6 p.m. that will include sampling Hopewell wines followed by a buffet dinner at 6:30 p.m. Cost of the buffet is $20 per person, including tax and tip.

Featured speaker will be Greg Dolbeare, president of Sny Island Merchandising Co. Dolbeare will highlight his plans to build a barge loading facility and grain elevator on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River, south of the Champ Clark Bridge.

A short business meeting will be held to approve minutes from last year and elect new officers. An annual report will be available.
