Danny Rue and Pauline Seals

Danny Rue and Pauline Seals of Camp Point will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. May 18 in St. Thomas Parish Hall in Camp Point. Their children will host the event. Family and friends are invited.

Mr. Seals and the former Pauline Dietrich were married May 12, 1954, in St. Francis Catholic Church.

Mrs. Seals is a daughter of the late Ralph and Angela Wiedman Dietrich. Mr. Seals is a son of the late Orville and Mary Andrew Seals.

They are the parents of Mary Jean (Ronald) Gray of Corinna, Maine, Carol (Mark) Heidbreder of Decatur, June (Bruce) Shipp of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Jim (Jenny) Seals of Quincy. They have nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Seals retired from Moorman Manufacturing Co.'s Livestock Equipment Division. He is a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a Columbus Township trustee.

Mrs. Seals is a homemaker.

They are active members of St. Thomas Catholic Church.

The couple met at a dance at the Eagles Alps.
