Jack and Pat Fischer

Jack and Pat Fischer of 4425 Cedar Ridge Drive will mark their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip at a later date.

Mr. Fischer and the former Pat Becks were married May 23, 1964, in St. Francis Catholic Church.

Mrs. Fischer is a daughter of the late Walter and Dolores Becks. Mr. Fischer is a son of the late John V. and Myrtle Fischer.

They are the parents of Steve (Megan) Fischer of Davenport, Iowa, and Debbie (Tony) Krieg of Spring Hill, Tenn. They have six grandchildren.

Mr. Fischer retired in 2004 from Quincy Compressor after 36 years of service. He served in the Army from 1966 to 1968, having been stationed in Vietnam in 1968.

Mrs. Fischer retired in 2006 from the United Community Credit Union after 16 years of employment.

They are members of St. Peter Catholic Church, the Elks Club and Jackson Park Golf Course. They enjoy camping, golfing, traveling by car or taking bus trips when possible, and being with family and friends.

The couple met through mutual friends.
