HANNIBAL, Mo. -- A two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon just south of Hannibal injured three people.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2008 Dodge Caliber driven by Becky S. Brannan, 50, of Pearl, Ill., was northbound on U.S. 61 and stopped in traffic at 1:57 p.m. when it was struck in the rear by a 1991 Honda Civic driven by Mitchel E. Goodwin, 23, of Quincy, Ill.

Brannan and two passengers -- her husband Terry L. Brannan, 52, of Pearl, and her granddaughter Rebecca Lucas, 9, of Pittsfield, Ill. -- were taken by private vehicle to Hannibal Regional Hospital with minor injuries. All three, along with Goodwin, were wearing seat belts.

The patrol was assisted by the Ralls County Sheriff's Department and Ralls County Fire and Rescue.
