Bicyclist injured when bike and car collide at Hannibal interchange

HANNIBAL, Mo. -- A teen on a bicycle and a car collided at the Interstate 72/U.S. 61 interchange in Hannibal at 12:49 p.m. Tuesday.

According to the Hannibal Police Department, a 26-year-old Quincy woman was turning onto the eastbound ramp onto I-72 in a 2012 Ford Transit Connect van. A 14-year-old Hannibal girl was riding a bicycle south on a sidewalk and entered the road.

The juvenile was treated for injuries sustained in the collision and taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital by Marion County Ambulance.

No identities were reported immediately by police, and other injuries were reported.
