Dale and Mary Beth Woodward

Dale and Mary Beth Woodward of 920 Valley Court have observed their 60th wedding anniversary and plan to celebrate with a trip to Colorado later this summer to visit family.

Mr. Woodward and the former Mary Beth "Becky" Merker were married June 5, 1954, in the Lutheran Church of St. John.

Mrs. Woodward is a daughter of the late Roy and Margaret Merker. Mr. Woodward is a son of the late Dale and Roselyn Woodward.

They are the parents of Mark (Terri) Woodward of Denver, Colo., Lynn (Frank) Ono of Roseville, Calif., Calvin Woodward (Tony Blackford) of Quincy and Warren (Christy) Woodward of Quincy. They have five grandchildren.

Mr. Woodward retired from Feed Distributors Inc., and Mrs. Woodward retired from home day care.

They are active members of the Lutheran Church of St. John and enjoy reading, traveling and spending time with family.

The couple was introduced by a friend.
