Dick and Mary Lou Gengenbacher

Dick and Mary Lou Gengenbacher of 2823 N. 18th will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house, hosted by their children and spouses, from 1 to 4 p.m. June 22 at 318 Kochs Lane. Family and friends are invited.

The couple was married June 20, 1964, in St. Mary Catholic Church.

Mrs. Gengenbacher is a daughter of the late Harry and Mary Amburn. Mr. Gengenbacher is a son of the late Ed and Vera Gengenbacher.

They are the parents of Rick (Becky), Russ (Lori), Janet (Scott) Smith, Randy (Michelle), Ron, Joy (Adam) Requet and Rob (Liz). They have 17 grandchildren and one on the way.

Mr. Gengenbacher is retired from Gardner-Denver after 50 years of service.

Mrs. Gengenbacher is retired from the Quincy Public Schools.

They are members of St. Francis Catholic Church and enjoy watching their grandchildren play sports, cheer, dance and sing. They also enjoy going to auctions.
