Jan and Toot Ewalt

Jan and Toot Ewalt of 2903 S. 12th are observing their 40th wedding anniversary today. They are celebrating with a trip to Wisconsin and Lake Geneva, where they honeymooned.

Mr. Ewalt and the former Janice Terwelp were married June 29, 1974, at their home where they still reside.

Mrs. Ewalt is a daughter of the late Marian and Virgil Terwelp. Mr. Ewalt is a son of the late Rose and Leonard Ewalt.

They are the parents of Casey McGartland and her husband, Brandon, of Quincy, Lori Dyre and her husband, Richard, of Muscatine, Iowa, and Kenny Ewalt of Champaign. They have two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mr. and Mrs. Ewalt are owners of Ewalt Auction and Real Estate.

They are members of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He enjoys fly fishing, woodworking and family vacations. She enjoys working outdoors, country music, and taking day trips with family.
