Jim and Jean Leasman

Jim and Jean Leasman of 114 S. Locust, Newark, Mo., are celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary with cake and ice cream from 5 to 6 p.m. today in Sprout's Inn in Quincy. Family and friends are invited.

Mr. Leasman and the former Jean Fountain were married June 29, 1979, at Fabius Village in Taylor, Mo.

They are the parents of Carolyn Dralle, Dennis Leasman, Jeannette Dralle, Chris Powel, Donald Leasman, Ronald Leasman, Robin Kling, Tim Leasman, Cynthia London, Kenneth Howe and Jamie Edward Leasman Jr. They have 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Before his retirement, Mr. Leasman was a truck driver, farmer and factory worker at Gardner Denver.

Mrs. Leasman, a licensed practical nurse, was employed by Gardner Denver, Good Samaritan Home and Soldiers and Sailors Home before retiring.

They are members of Bethel Christian Church and enjoy reading and working in the garden.
