M. Dale and Catherine Moore

M. Dale and Catherine Moore of 34302 County Hwy. 2, Baylis, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. July 12 in the Pike County Farm Bureau Hall on East Washington in Pittsfield. Their children and grandchildren will host the event. Family and friends are invited; no gifts are requested.

Mr. and Mrs. Moore were married April 16, 1954, in Time Community Church in Time.

Mrs. Moore, the former Catherine Sheppard, is a daughter of the late Earl and Jessie Sheppard. Mr. Moore is a son of the late Floyd and Ruby Moore.

They are the parents of Stephen Moore of Glendale, Ariz., Gary Moore and Mrs. Sam (Sharon) Tedrow, both of Quincy, Michael Moore of Columbia, Mo., Donald Moore of Overland Park, Kan., and Mrs. Michael (Linda) Harmon of El Paso, Texas. They have 11 grandchildren.

Mr. Moore retired from the Illinois Department of Transportation and retired from farming.

Mrs. Moore retired from the Pike County clerk's office and as New Salem Township clerk.

They are members of New Salem United Methodist Church.
