Maurice and Launa Blickhan

The children of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice "Moe" Blickhan of Quincy will host a 50th wedding anniversary party in honor of their parents. Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m. July 20 in St. Francis Catholic Church, followed by a reception from 2 to 5 p.m. at Spirit Knob Winery in Ursa. Family and friends are invited; they request no gifts.

The couple was married July 18, 1964, in St. John Catholic Church in Quincy.

Mrs. Blickhan is a daughter of the late Lloyd and Goldia Henry. Mr. Blickhan is a son of the late Maurice F. Blickhan Sr. and Winifred Blickhan.

They are the parents of Mark (Lisa) Blickhan of Mendon, Angela (David) Pezzella of Woodstock, Ga., and Gregory (Jennifer) Blickhan of Loraine. They have two grandchildren and five stepgrandchildren.

Mr. Blickhan was a member of the Illinois National Guard from 1962 to 1968, and was employed by Gardner Denver Co. for 46 years before his retirement.

Mrs. Blickhan was employed by Gardner Denver Co. and St. Francis Catholic School as secretary for 24 years before retiring.

They are members of St. Francis Catholic Church.
