Darrel and Minerva Chillion

Darrel and Minerva Chillion of 29874 252nd Ave., Durham, Mo., will be honored for their 50th wedding anniversary with cake and ice cream from 4 to 7 p.m. July 26 at the American Legion Hall in Lewistown, Mo. Family and friends are invited.

Mr. Chillion and the former Minerva Wiseman were married July 24, 1964, in St. Francis Catholic Church in Quincy.

Mrs. Chillion, the former Minerva Wiseman, is a daughter of Hazel Wiseman of Quincy and the late Earl Wiseman. Mr. Chillion is a son of the late Vern and Viola Chillion.

They are the parents of the late Michael Chillion, Thomas Chillion and his wife, DeAnna, of Lewistown and Rusty Chillion and his wife, Kellie, of Crawfordsville, Ind. They have six grandsons.

Mr. Chillion retired from Watlow Industries after 15 years of service and is now a substitute teacher for the Lewis County C-1 School District. He enjoys hunting and fishing with his grandsons and is a dedicated St. Louis Cardinals fan.

Mrs. Chillion retired from the JC Penney Hair Salon after 17 years of service and then delivered newspapers for The Quincy Herald-Whig. She continues to clip hair for her grandsons, coordinate family gatherings, and enjoys reminiscing with family photos.
