Thefts, burglaries, fraud

A black Next brand bicycle was taken from the Wavering Aquatic Center area July 7.

Change was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked overnight July 2 in the 400 block of College.

A Quincy man reported that someone accessed his checking account and made two unauthorized transactions July 1.

An undisclosed amount of cash, tools and perfume were taken from a green 1996 Chevrolet while it was parked at 411 Oak on June 29 or 30.

Several items were taken from a garage at 1705 Jackson between June 25 and June 27.

A Bartonville resident reported that $100 in cash was taken from her car parked at Buffalo Wild Wings on June 27.

An Xbox 360 console and games were taken from a residence at 711 S. 13th on June 26.

A Quincy woman reported that someone gained access to her bank account June 24 and made several fraudulent charges in Florida.

Change was taken from two vehicles parked in the 2100 block of Jersey on June 22.

A garage was entered and vehicles rummaged through on June 22, but nothing appeared to have been taken.


A man shot fireworks at a house at 1903 N. Fifth at 9 p.m. July 4, causing damage to the siding on the east side.

A door handle of a car was torn off while the vehicle was parked at Sixth and Lind on July 1.

A black 2004 Ford Mustang was scratched in several places June 29. Police gave no location for the incident.

A window screen was cut on the southwest corner of a home at 1508 College between June 22 and June 26.

A Mendon woman reported that her car was scratched somewhere in Quincy on June 9.

The right side of a 2008 Chevrolet was scratched while it was parked at 6120 Broadway on June 12.
