HANNIBAL, Mo. -- The Marion County Sheriff's office has released a police sketch of the unidentified woman whose body was found in the Mississippi River just south of Hannibal last Sept. 15.
The likeness of the woman is being circulated to news media organizations along with other information about her remains.
According to the news release, the woman appeared to be about 39 years old and of Hispanic descent. Police estimate the date of her death as Sept. 8, 2013. She had brown hair and brown eyes and was between 5 feet, 1 inch and 5 feet, 4 inches tall. She weighed between 120 and 145 pounds.
The woman's body was clad in an extra-large, pink, purple, navy and yellow striped blouse and size 13/14 Ariya-brand jeans.
