Bob and Melody Cashman

Bob and Melody Cashman of 621 Pawn Ave. will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. A trip to the Panama Canal is planned in October.

The couple was married Aug. 1, 1964, in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Orion.

Mrs. Cashman is a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Clark. Mr. Cashman is a son of the late Harland and Ethel Cashman.

They are the parents of Cindy (Jeff) Hendrickson of Keokuk, Iowa, John (Tracy) Cashman of Chatham and Bill Cashman of Nauvoo. They have six grandchildren.

Mr. Cashman taught school and coached for six years at Nauvoo-Colusa High School, 1965-1971, and retired in 2001 after 30 years with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources at Nauvoo State Park.

Mrs. Cashman was a homemaker and later worked in the offices of the city of Nauvoo.

They are members of Nauvoo United Methodist Church.
