Canton man injured when car hits tree, rolls over on U.S. 61

LaGRANGE, Mo. -- A Canton man was injured in a rollover crash Tuesday on U.S. 61 south of LaGrange.

Aaron W. Lewis, 20, was taken by Lewis County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., for treatment.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Lewis was driving a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am north on U.S. 61 three miles south of LaGrange when the car ran off the road, struck a tree and overturned. The car came to rest on its top. Lewis was wearing a seat belt. The crash occurred at 7 a.m.

Assisting was the Lewis County Sheriff's Department.
