Caryn Lenae Lippincott and Jared Mark Tate were married May 10 in St. John Lutheran Church in Hannibal, Mo.
The bride is a daughter of Jeanine and Rick Balzer of Colchester and Chris Lippincott of New London, Mo. The bridegroom is a son of Mark and Chris Tate of Hannibal.
The Rev. Michael Stoerger conducted the 3 p.m. ceremony. Jerry Rosenkrans and Seth Wade provided instrumental music and vocals, and Caitie Corum, cousin of the bridegroom, was soloist. Audra Gilstrap and Jennifer Link were candlelighters.
Matron of honor was Chelsea Lippincott-Dunn, sister of the bride. Maid of honor was Brittni Shaw. Bridesmaids were Alyx Hosley, Paige Codilis, Cassidy Delonjay and Ryean Callahan. Junior bridesmaids were Kaydence Veach and Chloe Allen, cousins of the bride.
Best man was Eric Greenwald. Groomsmen were Brad Brinkley, Aaron Curtis, J.D. Dodd, Drew Leonard and Brandon Griffith. Junior groomsman was Dane Dunn, nephew of the bride.
Ushers were Cole Simmons, Kyle Kuschel and Ben Dunn, brother-in-law of the bridegroom.
Flower girl was Addison Veach, cousin of the bride, and ring bearer was Bryson Dunn, nephew of the bridegroom.
A reception was held at American Legion Post 55 in Hannibal.
The bridal couple honeymooned in the Dominican Republic before returning home to Overland Park, Kan.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Hannibal High School and a 2013 cum laude graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor of journalism in strategic communication. She also earned minors in business and personal financial management services and was an active member of Delta Gamma -- Mu Chapter. She is a digital media buyer at PlattForm Advertising in Lenexa, Kan.
The bridegroom is a 2008 graduate of Hannibal High School and a 2012 cum laude graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor of science in civil and environmental engineering. He earned a minor in math and was a member of Alpha Gamma Sigma-Beta Chapter. He is a junior civil engineer at Argus Consulting in Overland Park.
