Pointe D'Vine in Quincy was the setting for the July 4 wedding of Miss Danielle Rene Benjamin and Curt Anthony Felker, both of Quincy.

The bride is a daughter of Michael and Jennifer Benjamin of Payson. The bridegroom is a son of Ron and Mary Felker of Hannibal, Mo.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents during the 5 p.m. ceremony conducted by the Rev. Tom Benjamin.

Matron of honor was the bride's mother, Jenny Benjamin. Bridesmaids were Leslie Bentley of Quincy, cousin of the bride, and Kasey Clingingsmith of Quincy and Cassie Duncan of Ursa.

Best man was Matt Holtschlag of Quincy. Groomsmen were Jason Allen and Christian Spears, both of Quincy, and Ryan Brooks of Portland, Ore.

Ushers were Tim McColez of Quincy and Tom McColez of Springfield.

Flower girl was Alice Redington of Quincy, daughter of the bridegroom, and ring bearer was Hunter Ballinger of Plainville, nephew of the bride.

A rehearsal dinner was held July 3 at Pointe D'Vine, hosted by the bridegroom's parents. A reception began at 7 p.m. at the Casino Starlite.

After honeymooning in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the newlyweds are at home in Quincy.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Seymour High School in Payson and a 2011 graduate of Quincy University. She is employed by Titan Wheel.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Quincy High School. He is employed by Dot Foods in Mount Sterling.

It had been several years since Baker, an all-stater as a senior at Pittsfield High School, had seen the game. "I sure was awful skinny, and those shorts were awful short," he said with a laugh. "But it was neat to watch. It's kind of a blur, but I can remember plays that were called in every game. It's so surreal."
