Quincy man arrested after accident at 24th and Koch's Lane

A 23-year-old Quincy man is lodged in the Adams County Jail after he was arrested for disobeying the traffic-control device at 24th and Koch's Lane, causing a two-vehicle accident that injured two other people.

Quenton J. Keating, 4500 Brandywine, was westbound on Koch's Lane when the 2005 Dodge Ram he was driving struck a 2007 Lexus that was southbound on 24th. The Lexus was knocked over on its passenger side and struck the traffic light post at the southwest corner of the intersection.

Carole D. Wiberg, 49, 804 Eagle Trace, was the driver of the Lexus. She and John H. Wiberg, 64, of the same address, a passenger, were transported to Blessing Hospital by ambulance. Both individuals were treated and later released.

Keating was arrested for disobeying a traffic-control device and obstructing justice.
