HANNIBAL, Mo. -- The Northeast Missouri CHART Partnership meeting on Wednesday, Aug. 20, will feature Drew Earls, wellness director at the YMCA of Hannibal.
Earls will share insights on the use of mobile health care applications to inspire and motivate healthier lifestyle choices.
Earls received his degree in recreational management from Hannibal-LaGrange University. A strong advocate for mental and physical wellness, Earls involves himself in leading and training principles that reflect the core professional beliefs of the YMCA.
Earls has been with the YMCA of Hannibal since 2011. He has worked in personal training and fitness instruction, and recently accepted the position of wellness director. He is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
The CHART Partnership meets the third Wednesday of each month at Fiddlestiks in Hannibal, with lunch at 11:30 a.m. followed by a program and the meeting at noon. Health care and social services organizations and leaders throughout Northeast Missouri are encouraged to attend.
The partnership encourages and supports initiatives that enhance the health of residents of Lewis, Marion, Monroe, Pike, Ralls and Shelby counties. It serves as a vehicle for regular dialogue among regional health leaders, encouraging a shared understanding of regional health issues and promoting activities designed to enhance the health and well-being of residents.
