Lisa and Larry M. Senator of 1732 S. 28th celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a party hosted by their family and children. Their children also sent them on a trip to Chicago.

Mr. Senator and the former Lisa M. Thomas were married March 16, 1984, in Pittsfield. The marriage was recognized in the Catholic church with the sacrament of matrimony on June 28, 1988.

Mrs. Senator is a daughter of Raymond Thomas of Quincy and the late Colleen Thomas. Mr. Senator is a son of Sharon and Ronald Senator of Creve Coeur, Mo.

They are the parents of Matthew Thomas Senator and his fiancee, Rebecca Griftner, of Chicago, Jason Andrew Senator of Quincy, Brittany Nicole Senator of St. Louis and Cory Michael Senator at home.

Mr. Senator is a service manager at Gem City Ford.

Mrs. Senator is a veterinary technician and receptionist at Animal Medical Clinics. She is a member of Big Brother/Big Sister.

They are members of St. Francis Catholic Church and enjoy camping, trout fishing and their pets.
