Claire and Bonnie White of Bowen are observing their 50th wedding anniversary today.

Mr. White and the former Bonnie Fink were married Oct. 25, 1959, in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bowen.

Mrs. White is a daughter of the late John and Malinda Fink. Mr. White is a son of Clara White of Golden and the late Wayne White.

They are the parents of Rick (Melissa) and Rodger (Jan), all of Carthage, and Randy (Sara) of Bloomington. They have six grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

Mr. White retired in 2004 after 40 years of employment in the retail fertilizer and chemical business in Hancock and Adams counties.

Mrs. White retired in 2006 after 29 years of employment with the Southeastern School District.

They are members of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bowen.
