Kenneth and Mary Geschwandner have marked their 50th wedding anniversary. A small family gathering to celebrate the occasion will be held upon their daughter's return from her military operations.

Mr. Geschwandner and the former Mary Klingele were married Oct. 31, 1959, in St. Mary Catholic Church.

Mrs. Geschwandner is a daughter of the late Norbert and Viola Klingele. Mr. Geschwandner is a son of the late Henry and Regina Geschwandner.

They are the parents of Leslie Geschwandner, who is deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and Barbara (Thomas) Huber of Camp Point. They have two grandsons.

Mr. Geschwandner was employed by the Illinois Veterans Home before his retirement.

Mrs. Geschwandner is a homemaker.

They attend Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
