Jerry and Betty Ulrich of 418 Parkview Drive have marked their 40th wedding anniversary. A reception honoring them will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 28 in the lower level of the Tangerine Bowl, hosted by their children and grandchildren. They will also celebrate with an Alaskan cruise in July.

The couple were married Nov. 1, 1969, in Madison Park Christian Church.

Mrs. Ulrich, the former Betty Munger, is a daughter of Paul Munger and the late Mary Munger. Mr. Ulrich is a son of the late Jack and Florence Ulrich.

They are the parents of David Ulrich and his wife, Melinda, and Jackie Tournear and her husband, David, all of Quincy. They have three grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren.

Mr. Ulrich is the manager of the Tangerine Bowl. He is a life member of the Quincy United States Bowling Congress Bowling Association, a past president of the Illinois USBC BA and still serves as an active volunteer, and is an active member and a past president of the Quincy USBC Youth Association.

Mrs. Ulrich is employed by SEM Minerals and is also a waitress at the Tangerine Bowl. She is an active member of the Quincy USBC Youth Association.

They are both involved in the Judy Kerker Youth Memorial Bowling League and their grandchildren's sports.
