Celebrating 30 years of marriage (Oct. 27, 1979)

Dave and Theresa Bockhold of 6907 Ill. 96 S., Payson, celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary with a family dinner in the home of their daughter and son-in-law.

Mr. Bockhold and the former Theresa Genenbacher were married Oct. 27, 1979, in St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Mrs. Bockhold is a daughter of Dolly Genenbacher of rural Quincy and the late Robert Genenbacher. Mr. Bockhold is a son of Betty Bockhold of Quincy and the late George Bockhold.

They are the parents of Laura (Mike) Ohnemus of rural Camp Point, Matt (Ashley) Bockhold of Quincy and Ross (Sarah Longlett) Bockhold of rural Quincy.

Mr. Bockhold is the business manager at the Adams County Highway Department and is the supervisor of Melrose Township.

Mrs. Bockhold is a cook at Seymour Elementary School in Payson and a member of the Adams County Board.

They are members of St. Anthony Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the Quincy Gun Club and the South Side Boat Club. They enjoy working on their farm with their sons.
