Terrence and Lori Wensing of Quincy have announced the engagement of their daughter, Emily Rose Wensing, to Edward Eric Mason, both of Quincy. He is a son of Mickie Mason of Quincy and the late Edward Mason.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Quincy High School. She graduated from Western Illinois University in 2006 and has a bachelor of science degree in special education. She was a member of Kappa Delta Pi. She is a middle school special education teacher at Brown County Middle School in Mount Sterling.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Quincy High School and a 2008 graduate of WIU. He has a bachelor's degree in law enforcement and is a loss prevention manager at Sears.

A Nov. 28 wedding is planned in St. Francis Catholic Church.
