The engagement of Kristin Michelle Dettman and Michael Alan Peer, both of New Berlin, Wis., has been announced by their parents. She is a daughter of Robert and Janice Dettman of Pulaski, Wis. He is a son of Steven and Linda Peer of 5211 Hanley Road.

The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Pulaski High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a masters of professional accountancy degree. She was also two-time All American in volleyball at UWW. Miss Dettman is a certified public accountant and is a financial analyst at ProHealth Care Inc.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1991 graduate of Quincy High School and a 1995 graduate of Quincy University with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. Mr. Peer is a CPA and is a shareholder at Kolb and Co.

A Nov. 14 wedding is planned in Pulaski.
