Rhonda Lynn Brinks and Tobi K. Long, both of Payson, have announced their engagement.

The bride-elect is a daughter of Carl K. Moran of Payson and the late Violet Doyle. She is a 1980 graduate of Seymour High School in Payson and a 2005 graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Miss Brinks is a clinical instructor at Blessing Hospital School of Radiologic Technology.

The prospective bridegroom is a son of Becky A. Long of Payson and the late Billy Gene Long. He is a 1974 graduate of Seymour High School in Payson and is a maintenance supervisor at Titan Wheel.

The couple will be married Oct. 3 at the future Long residence.
