Dan and Evie Conrad of 1405 Oak have announced the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Lynn Conrad, to Christopher Patrick Cornwell of 1633 Chestnut. He is a son of Patrick and Mary Ann Cornwell of 3211 Golf Drive and Scott and Mary Yates of 1526 Ohio.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Quincy High School and attended John Wood Community College. She is a member of the LifePoint Bible Church praise band. Miss Conrad is a customer relations and inventory manager at Shottenkirk Toyota.

The prospective bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Unity High School and attended JWCC. He is a member of the LifePoint Bible Church praise band. Mr. Cornwell works in construction for Dale Koontz Builders.

An Oct. 24 wedding is planned in the Holiday Inn East.
