Mr. and Mrs. James Robert McKinney are at home at 2040 Sycamore after their marriage Sept. 19 in St. James Lutheran Church.
The bride, the former Debra Marie Niekamp of 2040 Sycamore, is a daughter of Larry T. and Linda Moller of 1218 Jersey. The bridegroom, also of 2040 Sycamore, is a son of Jimmy and Judi McKinney of 1734 S. 36th.
The bride was given in marriage by her children, Sheldon, Ashley and Gabriela, during the 5 p.m. ceremony conducted by the Rev. Marlin Rempfer. Glenn Boettger was organist. Reader was Hannah Heilwagen.
Matron of honor was Jessica Linenfelser of Quincy. Also attending the bride were Kimberly Heilwagen of Quincy, her sister; Crystal Hendricks of Houston; and Jessica Baker of Quincy, sister of the bridegroom. Junior bridesmaid was Ashley Niekamp of Quincy, daughter of the bride.
Best man was Justin McKinney of Ursa, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Corey Hudelson of Quincy, Chad Hudelson of New Canton and P.J. Baker of Quincy, brother-in-law of the bridegroom. Junior groomsman was Sheldon Niekamp of Quincy, son of the bride.
Usher was B.J. Butler.
Flower girls were Gabriela McKinney, daughter of the bridal couple, and Audrey Linenfelser of Quincy. Ring bearers were Jack Linenfelser and Brody Baker, nephew of the bridegroom, both of Quincy.
The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner Sept. 18 at the camp of Lowell and Barb McClelland of Quincy. A reception was held from 7 p.m. to midnight in the Elks Lodge.
The bridal couple plan a wedding trip to Jamaica in March 2010.
The bride is a 1993 graduate of Quincy High School and is an office assistant at Century Signs Inc.
The bridegroom attended Quincy High School and graduated in 2008 from Marine Corps bootcamp at Camp Pendleton in San Diego. He is self-employed.
