Elizabeth Ann Holbrook and Robert Joseph Gengenbacher, both of 1814 Hampshire, exchanged wedding vows July 4 in St. Francis Catholic Church.

The bride is a daughter of Dennis and Patricia Holbrook of Quincy. The bridegroom is a son of Richard and Mary Lou Gengenbacher, also of Quincy.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents; the Rev. James Wheeler and the Rev. Austin Albers officiated. Music was provided by Jared Holbrook and Jill Steinkamp. Also participating were Mike and Sue Holbrook, Eucharistic ministers, and Kevin and Becky Holbrook, readers.

Maid of honor was Allison Holbrook of Quincy, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Nicole Costigan of Quincy, sister of the bride, and Joy Requet of Olathe, Kan., and Janet Smith of Quincy, sisters of the bridegroom.

Best man was Ron Gengenbacher of Quincy, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Randy Gengenbacher, Russ Gengenbacher and Rick Gengenbacher, all of Quincy and brothers of the bridegroom.

Ushers were Mike Fischer of Chicago, Adam Peters of Quincy and Eric Terwelp of Chesterfield, Mo.

The bridegroom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner July 3 in their home. A wedding luncheon followed the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents. A reception was held in the Ambiance.

After honeymooning in Cancun, Mexico, the newlyweds are at home at 1814 Hampshire.

The bride is a marketing project manager at Dot Foods.

The bridegroom is a sales representative at Connor Co.

The bridal couple were honored with a bridal shower hosted by the family of the bridegroom, a bridal shower hosted by the family of the bride, and a couple's shower held at the home of Steve and Geri McMillen.
